*Old Congress Heights School Historic Renovation*	Just Completed
Old Congress Heights School , located in Southwest Washington at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave and Alabama Ave , is being redeveloped as a 42,000 sq ft charter school under the Districts Public Charter School System. This unique building has been vacant or underutilized and an eyesore for the community for over 20 years. The development will features a combination of public and private funding sources including New Market Tax Credits and Neighborhood Investment Fund and City Build grants. The school will be operated by Imagine Schools and will be available for the 2010-2011 academic year.

The community features award winning architecture and exterior details. The unique development in Capitol Hill has 38 market rate townhomes and affordable rental homes configured as townhomes over flats. The townhomes feature 3 bedrooms 2.5 baths and main level great rooms. The flats have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a rear courtyard. The development was constructed after the demolition of an abandoned public housing project and included training and employment programs for former residents.
IMI Community Center Health and Wellness facility	Predevelopment Underway
This facility is being developed in partnership with IMI and the Israel Baptist Church. The 36,000 square foot project will feature a community multi-purpose room, basketball court, fitness facility, training and educational space along with a community health center operated by Unity Health.
